Internal StorageWorks DAT72 USB no Boot
I have installed a Dell Optiplex 760 with Internal StorageWorks DAT72 USB backup drive and when it is plugged in and the pc is switched on it hangs after the splash screen on black screen with a flashing cursor in top left corner for about 5 - 10 mins then eventually boots up. Although it does boot up, the customer isn't to pleased, any ideas will be appreciated.

Check your boot sequence.

Re: Internal StorageWorks DAT72 USB no Boot
If you're on Windows platform ,you can use a tool from microsoft to analyse the boot sequence.
Sorry I forgot the name, I used it once in a similar situation.
It showed which services/jobs were starting in what sequence and with what delays.
It helped me identify the one service that caused my grief, so I could set it to delayed start. After that no more problems.
Cheers,
Andre
