Lost Data Protector Express Password

The data protector express password was changed and I can no longer login. Is there any way to recover the password or reset the admin password?

Hi,

There is no way you can reset the Admin password but you acn only do the following

Remove DPX by booting up to getting to the DPX install screen and choose "remove". Then go into Program Files\HP\ and see if there is anything remaining in this directory after the uninstall. If there is, copy to another directory and delete it. The DPX login information is stored in the DB (Database) subdirectory under Program Files\HP\Data Protector Express. After making sure DPX is completely gone, reboot the server.
