ltfs lto-5 copy to WORM?

Any reason why one could not use dd to copy an ltfs lto-5 tape to a WORM tape and then mount it with ltfs?

If you can get dd to copy the data including the different blocksizes on tape then that may work. As far as I understand dd will pad input blocks that are smaller than the defined blocksize. LTFS also employs filemarks on tape, not sure if dd copies these.
