magazine locked by host system (big pb)
Hi all,
I've bought 2 autoloader 1/8 G2 (LTO4) in order to backup my two proliant server.
On both system, when I try to unlock left (or rightà magazine, i Get the folllowing:
"Magazine locked by host system".
I upgraded the library firmware to 2.50 and it's the same.
I also tried to stop the Backup Exec 12 services, and "windows removable storage" service and the magazines are LOCKED BY HOST SYSTEM!
What else can I do?
Thank you

Re: magazine locked by host system (big pb)
Thks for your reply,
It seems that backup exec locked my Library even though if the applications and services were stopped.
I have to unlock manualy the library using backup exec (devices->right click on the library-> unlock).
Afterwards, you can open the magazines using the front panel or Web Interfaces.
Therefore I decoded to schedule it everyday.
Weird,
Thk you.
