management interface on HP Storageworks 72x10 1U Autoloader
On the rear of these drives there is a module (on the right looking from the back) that has a RJ45, RJ11 and USB port. There is NO documentation that I can find on what these are and how to use them. Can anyone enlighten me?

Re: management interface on HP Storageworks 72x10 1U Autoloader
The RJ11 and USB are not used to the best of my knowledge on this unit (although the USB is used to attach the MSL Encryption Kit on LTO-4 based 1/8 G2 and MSL libraries).
The RJ-45 is Ethernet. Hook it up to a switch and assign an IP address or set it to DHCP through the front panel. Once you have an IP address, you can perform many functions by opening the product GUI in your browser (simply enter the device's IP address in your address bar).
Some of the functions include firmware updates, move tapes, inventory, etc.

You can go in through the front panel and find out the TCP/IP settings. I don't know if there is a default address.
If you're asked for a password for the front panel, try all zeroes.
