Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2010 and HP LTO Ultrium-4
Hello. We have installed the trial version of DPM 2010 and now have a problem: Our streamer Hewlett-Packard Ultirum-4 does not work correctly with this product. When you try to clean the tape, we see an error
"The detailed inventory of tape failed for the following reason: (ID 3316) The tape (barcode - ) might not be compatible with the drive type of drive Hewlett Packard LTO Ultrium-4 drive in Stand Alone Drive Tape Library Hewlett Packard LTO Ultrium-4 drive. (ID 30004 Details: The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057)). Verify that the tape and the drive type are compatible and that the drive is supported. Also find out if you need to upgrade the drive firmware."
Firmware installed latest version, as well as the driver. Is there a way to make our streamer work correctly?
