MSL 2024 G3 Robotic Library - Read/Write Test

Hi, 

I have an MSL 2024 G3 Robotic Library.

I need to configure a diagnostic test. Under device it is showing:

Drive (Ultrium 6-SCSI).

Where should I put my tape in the library to performa read/write test?

Hello,

This is the Storage Essentials Support Forum.

Your question appears to be specific to an MSL 2024 G3 Tape Library and testing it.

Storage Essentials does not support discovery of MSL Tape Libraries.  It does support integration into Backup Software (Ex. Data Protector) where it can show an MSL Tape Library through it being discovered through the Backup Software.

Other than this, I don't think this is the correct forum for your question.
