MSL 2024 library error

Hi. After a power failure, the library does not read LTO tapes anymore. The product is:

MSL2024 HP 0-DRIVE CHASSIS 2U AK379A

MSL HP LTO6 6250 FC DRIVE KIT C0H28A

its hard to say what the issue is, power cuts can cause strange problems.

it sounds like the drive is probably the issue.

you could have it repaired, or buy a replacement.

its not easy to say without seeing what the drive/library is doing. certain errors dont always give a true fault.

The tape drive is having problems writing data. No data has been lost, but there has been a reduction in the capacity of the tape.
The drive is having severe trouble writing.
shutdown / reboot the library.
Clean the Drive using a valid cleaning media .
Try to perform write operation using a known good media and check .

Why do you say this? In fact, the problem seems to be a reading one, any tape I move from slot to drive gives error, the drive should just be reading the header.
