MSL 6000 problem

hi
i have replaced in a MSL6000, a LTO2 P/N:C7379-00831, by a P/N:Q1570-60001, but la librairy cannot initialize it! do i have to update the MSL6000 firmeware?

Those PN doesnt seem like valid LTO drives for a MSL. Are you using internal tape drives and replacing them in the cage?
They got different personality, you cannot change that unless it's someone from tech support with the password to override fw flashing.

Firmware cannot help you. Q1570-60001 is NOT a valid drive for the library.

You need a correct replacement drive for this library.
