MSL2024 FC LTO-5 drive and DP 6.10 -> cannot communicate with control device
Hi!
I'm trying to configure an MSL2024 library (fibrechannel attached with LTO-5 drive) to an server running Data Protector 6.10. Windows 2008 R2 is installed on the server.
Windows driver are disabled for the robotic device (but enabled for the tape drive).
I have defined to library using the "raw" scsi-path by browsing the device in DP.
There are no other software accessing the robotic device.
I have used the devbra -dev utility and everything looks fine.
I have tested direct connect to the server and via SAN switch.
Regardless I get the following error message when trying Barcode Scan:
bcksth1.bevakningstjanst.com : scsi4:0:4:1
Cannot open exchanger control device ([5] Access is denied. )
C:\Program Files\OmniBack\bin>devbra -dev

Any hints?
