Re: MSL4048
The MSL has a fiber(=optical) interface that talks Fibre Channel protocol.
The NC510f is a 10 GigaBit LAN adapter with a fiber(=optical) interface - it is not a Fibre Channel adapter.
Although both use optical interfaces, the layer 1 signalling and higher level protocols are completely different - that will NEVER work.

Re: MSL4048
Do you know which HBA is needed. In the instructions it states a 2Gb or a 4Gb channel HBA is needed. Don't suppose you know some model numbers that are compatible.
Thanks

which 'generation' number is the DL360?
Does it have PCI-X or PCI-e slots?

Re: MSL4048
You can go ahead and use the HP StorageWorks FC2142SR or FC2242SR HBA. This is a Fiber channel HBA of configurable sped upto 4Gbps.
Check out the below weblink.
