Would the drive model A7965A be compatible with the MSL6026/52?

The QuickSpecs for the A7965A say yes.

Sorry I can't see where it says you can put the A7965A into the MSL6026 anywhere on that document?

Sorry. Must have misread something when I posted that...

A7965A is: HP StorageWorks 3U Rack-mount kit with one SDLT 600 (Carbon)

so no it wouldn't go into an MSL6000.

According to the QuickSpecs for the library, the part number that you'd need for a compatible SDLT600 drive is AD589B.
