MSL6030 connection

How would you connect a MSL6030 directly to a RX2660 using the fiber channel card? The MSL6030 has the e1200-320 4Gb Fibre Channel Interface Card and the RX2660 has HP AD194-60001 PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel 2-port 4Gb FC/2-port 1000B-T Combo Adapter. I can see the two HP AD194-60001 PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel 2-port 4Gb FC/2-port 1000B-T Combo Adapter cards, but nothing else shows up.

You cannot see it from the server?

You need to create a (indexed) map on the NSR!

Hope this helps!

Re: MSL6030 connection

Torsten , Thank you, I'll try that and let you know.
I've attached IOSCAN output and fcmsutil output
Shouldn't I see the autochanger and the tape drive even with out the map?

Re: MSL6030 connection

No map means "hide everything to everyone - show nothing".

Hope this helps!
