MSL6030 Power Supply

 I need help.

I have a fauly Power Supply on MSL 6030 2 ULT 460 Dr FC Tape Library ( AD601B) . I need to order the replacement part but cannot find the part number.

When I scroll through the Part List I get part for 'Power Supply Receiver Assembly ' ... but cannot find the one which says 'Power Supply Unit'........ The part number I got is 231681-001....is that the correct part?

Looks like that's only the cage.

As far as I know it was a bit complicated to try to find the correct power supply for these guys.

This has a power supply  - 412493-002

But it's not listed for the MSL6030.

Maybe it's written on the broken Power Supply?

Yes..thats a problem.

On the faulty Power Supply , the only number I got was 9PA3004245 ..which if I google looks like the correct part. However, my to order from HP, we need HP Part Number whic I have failed to get.....

Yes Power Supply spare part is "412493-002 ".

Sorry it's my mistake.

Please refer the link below and search with "Power Supply". You will get spare part "231668-001 " but you need to check this in part surfer and you will find out the current spare part number as "412493-002 ".

Subhajit...I checked on Partsurfer the part number  412493-002 does not list MSL 6030 as one of the products which can use this part....

Hi Mahmood,

This is the correct spare part number and HP recommend the same part to the customers.

This issue already escalated to part surfer team and they will correct it soon.
