OBDR RESTORE PROBLEM- ml330 g3

I was trying to restore using OBDR on proliant ML330 G3 server and internal DAT72 tape drive. The restore process will start ok until it hangs at :
Init starting
Running recover.bin

The system will then hang, but the 2 leds on the front of the tape drive continue to flash alternatively.

What could be the issue?
