Possible to open both magazines on MSL2024 at same time?

I have tried to search the forums and HP's knowledge base for an answer to this question.

Is there a configuration option that allows you to unlock and remove both magazines on an MSL2024 at the same time?

No there is no such configuration. If you want both out at the same time you have to use the manual "emergency" removal method using the pin release in the back of the library.

The robot has to move and push the magazine release so it can only have one side released at a time. We aren't allowed to have the robot moving while a magazine is removed since damage to the robot or a person may occur if somebody reached in the open magazine. The robot has to wait for the magazine to be reinserted then it can move over and release the other side.
