Problem when format a blank media with Data Protector 5.5

Hello. I have a MSL6030 with a 1 drive and 28 tapes blank.When i go to format a tape, there is a critical error.

It is a hardware problem or a Software problem ?

See the attach file with error.

Help me, please.

P.S - I have install a new clean tape and clean about 4 times.

What kind of drive do you have installed? What DP patches are installed on the cell? What platform is the cell running? What type and brand of tapes are being used?

I'm assuming you receive the same errors regardless of which tape is used?

Hello. I have a one drive LTO installed.
I have the DP 5.5A installed.

I would check the hardware first.

Is this a windows machine?
Download LTT from http://www.hp.com/support/tapetools and perform an assessment test. Pull a support ticket and post.

Hi,

From the session report you have attatched, I think the culprict is the media. Did you check with a known good media? Clean the drive first, try loading a new / known good media and check if the problem is repeating? If the problem is not coming back the problem is with media.
