Restore by tape, missing tape in save set......

I have an issue whereas I am missing a tape in a 1.8tb tape set. I would like to restore the tapes that I have. Is there a way to mark a tape as missing? Perhaps restore certain tape(s)?

there should be what backup software are you using ?
