Hi,
1)I am going to buy HP LTO7 drive.
Before buying I have some questions.
In LTO6, the connector type on the rear side of the drive is EFF8482 (internal) and EFF8088 (external).
In the LTO7, I would like to know if there is a change in the connector type on the rear side of the drive.
2)Is it possible to connect FC type standalone LTO6 drive to PC main board
Thank you for your helping

Solutionconnections are the same as a lto6.
there arent any standalone FC drives there normaly library drives.
when HP made LTO's you could have used a Fc library drive as a standalone but now there physically ibm units, going on past ibm drives i think it will error.
