SSL1016 SDLT II 320GB Barcode issue

Hi ,

customer put a new SDLT tape 320GB with barcode into SSL1016 , but barcode can't be display on autoloader front pannel.

engineer changed a new autoloader for customer and a new tape , but problem was same.

so any suggestion !

the engineer who went onsite changed the whole SSL1016 or just the Drive in the SSL?

Can you check and tell me if the Engg has changed the Barcode reader assembly..

What is the Part Number of the SDLT Tape used?

HP Recommends use of only HP Barcode Labels(C9240-67903).

you must have wrong type of barcodes for the SDLT2 and autoloader setup. We had this with LTO2 autoloader where the barcodes delivered and printed were for SDLT2, which obviously didn't work.
