Storageworks Autoloader 1/8 - Errors A0 90 but no tapes stuck, carousel is moving fine!

Error code A0 when power applied. Then code 90 when trying to do import or export. LTT stays on "initializing" forever when running diagnostic test.

Pulled cover - tapes correctly in 1,2,3,4,5,6,8. Slot 7 is empty. Backup Exec showed inventory as 2 and 5 empty. However, tape 2 just finished a backup before the code A0 appeared when trying to export the tapes for a new set.

Did a sensor possibly just go bad?

Is there a way to check/set the correct hardware position of the belt in case of misalignment? (Maybe the belt hung or jumped track with the last tape operation?)

Previous errors in the error log oldest to newest were:

Unit out of warranty.

LTO2 Storageworks 1/8 Ultrium 460 Autoloader

Any help about sensors or adjustment would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I searched the forums and didn't find anything on this one except "Soja" mentioning to someone about A0 to "open autoloader and check HW position of cartridge carrier". I would love to do this but cannot find any alignment marks or initial position marks of any kind. Must have something to do with the location of the bumps in the belt.
