Superstore Autoloader 1/8
Hello All,
We recently purchased a Superstore Autoloader 1/8 to backup a new Windows 2003 server. The role of the server is for software development and houses several different databases. We will be doing nightly backups along with a weekly and monthly backup.
My question is do we need to purchase backup software or is ntbackup a feasible solution?
If you could please tell me the drawbacks from using ntbackup and also suggest alternate software packages I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your feedback.

Re: Superstore Autoloader 1/8
Comercial SW offers you more capabilities. I am using this HW with ARCserve, and it works fine.

Re: Superstore Autoloader 1/8
hi,
I can say for long run you have to go
for a commercial backup software only.
you can try HP's Dataprotector-5.
You may face intermitent problems
http://www.openview.hp.com/products/datapro/download.html
OR you can try this there are "n" numbers of commercial as well as free backup softwares.

Hi,
Please let me correct my above post:

for a commercial backup software only.
You may face intermitent problems
if you use windows internal backup software.
You can try HP's Dataprotector-5.
