Surestore DAT40e Vista Drivers
My assuption is that there are still no drivers for Vista for the Surestore DAT40e.
It is still a good tape drive and I have all my tapes but they are no good if not able to be used. I have just upgraded to Vista Ultimate, but cannot use my tape drive.
Any idea from anybody? Also, how could HP offer a Tape Library software for Vista when the tape drives cannot be installed?

Re: Surestore DAT40e Vista Drivers
Which backup software is recommended? I installed the HP Tape Library software and is to no avail. Within the Windows XP section in the HP Support site, there is a driver installation package.

Re: Surestore DAT40e Vista Drivers
I have my Tape Drive installed now with the Microsoft drivers but the different backup software that I am using just lock up when trying to backup to the dirve. I have Yosemite and Novastor products. It seems to start fine, but then just hang up.
No luck at all with getting this Surestore DAT40e to function at all on Vista.
