How to find the visibilty of tape drive in windows server?

Hello,
if it's connected to the server check the device manager. If the drive isn't listed, try a rescan of the hardware in the device manager. Check cabling and take a look at the controller on boot up. If the controller won't list the drive at boot up, it's not properly connected. Check cabling and termination.
