Tape issues with Ultrium 960
Last Friday night my backup program failed due to a media issue. Upon arrival at work today it appeared that the tape was stuck in my Ultrium 960. I have tried every means possible to remove the tape, including the Stuck Tape Test, which failed of course
when power cycling, the drive light is the one that lights up and seems to be casuing the issue not the tape light yet I get a good bill of health from the L&TT in every other check I do.
Not too sure how to access the drive itself (I have the standalone SCSI version) to manually remove the tape as it''s all bolted into the housing quite well.
Any ideas on where to go with this?

Re: Tape issues with Ultrium 960
If that doesn't work, the drive needs to be replaced.
If it's still under Warranty, this is a valid reason for HP to replace it for you.
