Tape struck on the DDS 3 DAT Drive
How can I remove the struck tape without damaging the data tape and the DAT Drive ?

2. power down the server wait 30 sec and power up again
if these actions do not allow the tape to be ejected, there is no other way to safely remove the tape

I too have a AIT 35 tape drive which will not eject the tape.
Other then dismantling the drive is there another way of removing the tape?
