What is the time to backup about tape 8gb and 25gb

Don't really undestand the question. Are you talking about how much time will it take to backup 8GB and 25GB ? If so what hardware are you using?

The hardware under make de backup is on RP7200, the drive is DDS-2, the problem is because before the backup the time aprox is 35 minutes on tapes 24gb, now the time is 4 hours on a tape 8gb.

Aditional tapes of 8gb the drive not reading.

Hi Victor:

Although your DDS-2 tape drive supports the different DDS tape cartridges e.g. 8GB and 24GB, it works best with the DDS-2 tape cartridges.
