Ultrium 2: There were unrecoverable write errors while writing tape xxx

I ran HPs ltt several times (see attachment for errors), cleaned the drive with a new cleaning tape several times and tested with two new tapes and several reused tapes. Go errors every time.

I guess the tape drive is dead but would like confirmation.

Have you perform a LTO Drive assesment test already ?
