Ultrium 3-SCSI (OEM) firmware
I have bought an internal HH Ultrium 3-SCSI (OEM) drive. I know that this device is a StorageWorks Ultrium 920.
Can i flash a regulary firmware file for the StorageWorks 920 to my OEM drive without crashing it?
The Tape Tools say that the firmware D22D is suitable for my drive. But i'm a little unsure... i don't want to crash my new drive.
Thanks

Re: Ultrium 3-SCSI (OEM) firmware
Hi,
what is the HP product number of the drive ?
Open hp.com select "support & drivers" and do a search with product number. you should get actual the firmware there for comparison.
Hope this helps.

Re: Ultrium 3-SCSI (OEM) firmware
Thanks, it worked perfectly. The new firmware is now on the drive!
