Unable to load NW5.0 CPQSCSI.HAM
I installed in Prol1850R 600MHz a Tape Library adapter to connect the tape library TL891.
When I tried to load a CPQSCSI.HAM I've got the following message "adapter in slot 3 is non-compaq ....".
Embedded controller works fine and system utilities (F10) show
that the adapter in slot 3 is Compaq Wide Ultra Dual, etc.
The ROMPAQ and drivers are from SmartStart 4.90.
Tried also 4.80.
The system utilities partition was re-created, NVRAM was erased to re-read config, etc.
The NW5 has the Service Pack 5 installed.
What have I missed?
Thanks.

Re: Unable to load NW5.0 CPQSCSI.HAM
Solved. A change of the motherboard sometimes is the best shot. In this case neither a driver nor a firmware problem. Just a damage of motherboard (most probably) ....
