URGENT! How to restore specific data from tape to selected destination in server

Please help me urgent, yesterday i wrongfully update my database, so i need to get the specific mdf file from my backup tape.. but i dont know how to restore the the specific file to a specific folder. im using data protector express 3.50 sp-1 with ultrium 920

Provided the software is functional and you can restore the file, go ahead adn restore it to a different location. Stop your data protector processes and copy the file to the correct location then try starting up data protector.
