Re: USB 160 DAT
Hi Brian,
You can download the DAT tape driver installed and install it. It should have the sys file you are looking for in the installer pack
Hope this helps
Regards
Raj

Re: USB 160 DAT
In general, if you start from http://www.hp.com/go/support , you can type in the product name and search for drivers from that page.

Re: USB 160 DAT
You should see somthing like...
|__ System Configuration
||__ Version # V29.07.2007
||__ Removable Storage Manager (RSM) Service - Stopped
||__ Insight Management Agents - Not installed
||__ Driver Revisions
| ||__ DAT Driver Version - 1.6.0.0
| ||__ LTO Driver Version - 1.0.5.2
| ||__ Scsiport driver version - 5.1.2600.2180
| ||__ Storport driver not installed
| ||__ atapi: version - 5.1.2600.2180
| ||__ sym_hi: version - 5.1.2462.0
| ||__ Symmpi: version - 1.21.7.0
Latest DAT driver is 1.6.0.0.
If you look in WINDOWS/system32/DRIVERS you should see hpdat.sys. In device manager this will also show up as version 1.6.0.0.
One more test; use LTT to run a device performance test. That uses the DAT driver (the rest of LTT uses a lower level driver). If the performance test runs, your driver must be installed OK.
Good luck.
