Using Compaq 29160 SCSI card with RAID controller

I have a Dell server with an embedded PERC controller that controls the hard drives. I got the drives RAID'd, and Windows Server 2003 installed, and the server boots just fine. However, I then installed an OEM Compaq (Adaptec) 29160 SCSI card into PCI slot #3, and then connected an HP Surestore 230 external tape drive to the 29160 card. Now, the server wants to boot from the 29160 and not the PERC controller. I don't get the CTRL+A prompt when the SCSI card is detected, and trying that key combo doesn't work anyway. The tape drive is set to SCSI ID 1 (the card is ID 7) and the termination is correct. The server reports "SCSI BIOS not found" and the server stops botting at that point.

Is there some other way I can get into the 29160 card BIOS to disable the server trying to boot from it? Thanks
