StoreOnce VSA V4 free 1TB license not available

Hello,

I have installed a trial StoreOnce VSa and now the license is near to expire, and I would like to install the 1TB free, bBut it seems to be unavailable.  The HPE License Portal reports:

Note: The StoreOnce VSA freeware license is temporarily unavailable. It is planned to be available again with the release of the next update to StoreOnce VSA. When the next release of StoreOnce VSA is available, this page will be updated to enable a freeware license key to be downloaded.

Does anyone knows something more ?

Hello ,

Thank you for contacting us.   Please note that  Product STOREONCE VSA is no longer available at the SW Depot portal.  It has been removed in favor of the Gen4 SW version of this software.

However, you may obtain the StoreOnce VSA Gen 4 Software at the My License Portal using the direct link:

https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com/cwp-ui/evaluation/BC002-63101/4.1.1/null

I have already installed and I'm using the Gen4 VSA with 90 days trial license. But I don't understand if when 90 days expires I can continue using the 1TB free or the VSA stops working.

Hey there,

The 90 day trial license is what is currently available. The Free 1TB trial from the older VSA's are not available with the 4.x.x version. Once the 90 day trial is expired you will los functionality and will need to purchase a full VSA license.

The Free License IS AVAILABLE

This is not something new, but as long as Google keeps finding this thread, it is worth giving correct instructions

Go to https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com
Sselect the “evaluate” tab
Search for "StoreOnce" and scroll down 10 pages to "HPE StoreOnce VSA GEN 4 - 1 TB Freeware License"

I tested it using my HPE internal account, but it should work for everybody.
