StoreOnce VTL cartridge compatibility

Hi,

Please your help, we have the following scenario, in a virtual environment such as a test lab prior to migration in the real environment:

A Data Protector 9.09 environment (OS Windows 2012 R2) with a StoreOnce VTL (iSCSI) with LTO-5 cartridges, the Data Protector 9.09 environment was migrated to a new computer (OS Windows 2016) and the VTL also, barcode scan works without problems, but when reading the tapes in the new environment we have the following error:
Cannot write to device ([87] The parameter is incorrect.) Or
Cannot read from device ([87] The parameter is incorrect.)

Do we have any restrictions or issue with StoreOnce VTL? Or is it a specific problem with Data Protector backup software?

This error can be cause by many different reasons, but is usually caused by some type of configuration issue with the Data Protector Logical Tape device.

Please validate if the Block size is set to 256KB in DP if yes then change to 64KB which will fix the issue.
