1TB license included with DL380

My customer has bougth two DL380 servers and I have installed on each the VSA software. It is working OK. However I'm puzzled by the licensing. I would like to make use of the free 1TB offer. I understand I cannot use some features like adaptive optimization, >1TB volumes, two-tiering, ...

When I go to CMC, it states that I'm still in evaluation, and that volumes which contain violations go offline in 6 days.

Should I worry?

Yes, I"ve been though these pages. I remember for LeftHand 12.5 and lower, you could download some kind of certificate. Could it be that for LeftHand 12.6 there is no more such thing? I was told by a HPE technical support that I must apply a specific license key. So I checked the license for the two nodes, and the license key was already sitting there, apparently done automatically.

A: Customers who wish to revert to a 3-year license must deactivate Adaptive Optimization, reduce their storage to less than 1TB, and follow these steps: 1. Expand the StoreVirtual VSA “feature registration” tab in Management Group under Cluster under Storage Systems. 2. Open “edit license key” located at the bottom of the “feature registration task” window. 3.
