A Couple of questions- SNMP
Hi,
1) How do you disable certain alarms in ver 9? as per usual the documentation is rather lacking in actual details.
2) SNMP Counters for IOPS. In the CMC I can see counters (such as IOPS) that I cannot find exposed via SNMP, does anyone have any pointers for this before I go back to either dell or netapp.
Thanks,
Phil.

Re: A Couple of questions
Hi,
HP StorageWorks SAN/iQ software version 9.0 improves administrator awareness of SAN issues by raising alarms in the CMC for conditions that need attention or administrators should be aware of. Alarms cannot be dismissed or ignored. Alarms go away automatically when an issue is resolved.

Re: A Couple of questions
Ok but how do I disable the alarms or at least tweak the default settings?
I am using 100% of the space, as a flat datastore for VM ware. I would like to disable this alarm as it offers no value to me in this configuration and whilst I appreciate the emails every few minutes it would be nice to get a break from them.
Thanks,
Phil.
