Alarms on Storage P4300

Hello everyone

I have some problems in my Storage P4300, I already did several procedures but I didn't find the solution.

The 'Data Array 1' Parity Initialization Status is 'Failed'.
The volume 'storageimagem' in cluster 'Stara' has unrecoverable I/O errors.
The volume 'storageimagem1' in cluster 'Stara' has unrecoverable I/O errors.

Re: Alarms on Storage P4300

Hi

it looks like you have a hardware error on your second system fist fix that

because now your volumes are in RAID 0 or maybee they are un accesible now

after you fix your hardware error your volumes should re-sync or you should

repair that storage system.

Re: Alarms on Storage P4300

I cannot find any error locally, there is no LED indicating an error physically.

Is there another way to perform a Diagnosis?

Re: Alarms on Storage P4300

Hi

you can perform diagnostics choose the diagnostics tab and press run now

in the actions below.

from your storage picture it seems you have a problem with the raid ( yelllow warning in the raid TAB)

maybee there was a power fail and you raid was disabled you should boot from smartstart and check the raid controller

settings.

@MadeinTheBrasil

We have 2 issues here.

1. Parity Initialization has failed on one of the Node

2. Volume/s are in Unrecoverrable I/O State

For the First issue, we need to check for any Drive Errors on the Node

For the second issue, if the Volume with Unrecoverrable I/O is accessible then take a Back Ups. We might have delete the Volume, Recreate it and Restore it from the Back Up.

Please do log a Support Case to check for Drive Errors
