Changing IP of remote replication target?
Does anyone know how you change the IP address of a P4000 that is being used as a remote replication target please?
More specifically, how you ensure that replication continues after you change the IP address as I'm assuming you have to "tell" the source of the change of IP address.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Changing IP of remote replication target?
I am assuming you are talkng about a remote copy target?
If so the Saniq is smart enough to know that the target "remote copy" is the same.
You should just be able to change the ip address and then see if your shedule is still in tact.
If not just recreate the schedule and it should work.
Dont break the remote copy site though that will break the relationship.

Re: Changing IP of remote replication target?
Thanks Emilo, I shall keep an eye open as in all the docs I don't recall seeing an actual IP address being entered anyway, you just choose/browse the appropriate remote cluster from the CMC when setting up the schedule.
