I have a failed p4300 node still showing in the management group on the CMC. I tried to remove it but says theres a volume still being migrated from it. Its been going for 3 straight days and I believe something's not right.
Is there a way I can forcefully remove the node from the management group?? Is so, what are the consequences?

SolutionHi,
What happens when you do a (re)discovery of that node? Does it changes anything?
You can always, via the console, remove the node from the management group... Offcourse check in advance that you have enough managers running and enough other nodes with blocks of all data on it so that the volumes stay available...
If you enter this node afterwards in the MG again, all data will be rebuild to that node... Can take some time!
Kr,
Bart

Re: HP P4300 - Remove from Management Group
I have a died FOM in my mgm group and it does not allowed me to add a new FOM server.
