Moving Volumes

We are storing a single VHD file on a single Volume. I need to move the VHD file (Volume) from fast to slow Disk. Is there an easy documented way to move using the CMC.

Assuming that you have a cluster for your fast disk and another for your slow disk then you can edit the volume and on the advanced tab change the cluster from one to the other. This will cause the volume to relocate.

Hi
Both clusters must be in the same management group to do this.
When you have moved the volume from one cluster to the other then you will need to re-present the volume with the new cluster VIP.
