RAID REPAIR STROVIRTUAL 4000

Hello,

I found a post on this forum about RAID Repair. The prodedure was posted and it's necessary to admin connect in order to put node into repair mode. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=mmr_kc-0112618

Since new LeftHand versions, we can't conect to admin. Can we do it over CMC or only HPE technicals can do it ?

Thanks for your help.

Re: RAID REPAIR STROVIRTUAL 4000

Hello  testmado662 .

We need  adminstrator login to place the Node in repair.

If the store is working fine, the node will not go into repair mode from CMC, we need to stop the dbd_store service to force the repair from CLIQ.

Putty into the Node with poert 16022 , you can use CMC login credentials  and ran utility run="servicectl dbd_store stop".

Then from CMC ->r right click on the node, select repair storage system

You can contact HPE support.

Re: RAID REPAIR STROVIRTUAL 4000

hello Mohink,

We can connect as SAN Admin, we don't need to use an HPE root user ?

I know that some operation are only authorized for HPE support.

If our current admin user works, no problem to repair RAID 5.
