4208vl bandwidth control for Inbound Traffic
we have few customers which are using our Internet service and are connected to our Procurve 4208vl switch. we want to control the Bandwidth of the Inbound traffic for customers (Like the customer should get the speed in between 10 - 100 Mbps).
And we can not change the link speed in this case at interface link speed config as the customers device priority.
Rate limit would be one option to solve this problem but 4208vl does not support rate limit.
is there any way we can solve it ?

Re: 4208vl bandwidth control for Inbound Traffic
you must use rate limiting for this operation
must use other model (for example 5400switch )
or resolve any other device firewall router etc.
