5406zl -VLAN using RJ45 and Fibre Ports- No connectivity on Fibre ports

Hi,

My Default VLAN has both RJ45 and Fibre ports and works fine.

I've created a VLAN (VLAN17) which has members which are both RJ45 and Fibre, however the RJ45 ports work as expected, but the Fibre ports have no connectivity.

If i move them back to the default VLAN, then connectivity is restored...

This is driving me mad...

I'm using J4858C Gbics and Procurve 1400-24G switches at the other end.

Here's an excerpt from my config:

Hi,

the Procurve 1400-24G has no config!

as an edge switch they are "plug and play", I have 1400-24G switches connected to the Default VLAN using Fibre and they are working fine.

I've done a bit more digging and the Firmware on the Switch is out of date, so i'm planning to update this (and i'm praying this will fix my issue)

FW must be update.
I see in your configuration:
no untagged B20,B22,C17-C18,D1,D17,D19

I think its not necesary, only with untagged in VLAN 17.

There is a litte question with 1400-24G, the 2 last port are dual personality, and it means only works fiber or cooper, I supposed you only have plug fiber.

When you said no connectivity, light is off?
