8212 failover to 5412

We have an 8212zl switch as our core switch in our MDF. Also, we have two 5412 switches for all of our device connections. Can one of the 5412's be a fail over for the Core 8212zl? if so is their any documentation how to configure these switches to failover?

Hello Paul,

do you mean failover for routing? Then VRRP should be a solution for you. But you need the Premium Software Licenes for both switches.
