Access-List resources Procurve 3400 Series

Hello,
I have a procurve 3400 routeur/switch. I have a few ACL on a port. Last week i was not able to add new acl entry on this port, and i discovered after hours of debuging that THERE IS NO MORE MASK AVAILABLE for this port. The maximum of 8 mask has bees used.

I re-order the entries, combine some entries and was able to free 2 masks.

The question is: How to orvercome this limitation of 8 mask per port ? Cause i don't want to struggle with that every time i want to add a new entry ?

The way to overcome this hardware limitation is to buy a 3500.
