Cisco Radius authentification
Hello,
I try to link a HP switch and a Cisco ACS radius. I am looking for the Radius IEFT settings for the ACS to speak sucessfully with the HP device.
Does anyone has theses settings?
I can set the tacacs funtionnality with success but in this case i have only authentification but not authorization and accounting
Thanks
GrisGris

Re: Cisco Radius authentification
Hi
I haven't work with the cisco ACS before, but i'm sure its pretty simple since the RADIUS is a standard based authentication service.
So what exactly the settings and configuration you need from the Cisco ACS to make it work ?
Good Luck !!!

Re: Cisco Radius authentification
Hello,
I found out, that to successfull authenticate user you need to send Service-Type(6) attribute with value 6 for administrator or 7 for operator (in ACS values Administrative and NAS-PROMPT). In Cisco ACS you can use both RADIUS(Cisco IOS/PIX 6.0) and RADIUS(IETF). In User or Group setting you have to select attribude Service-Type in IETF RADIUS Attributes group.
