Events disappear in PCM+

Hi @ all,

we monitor all our HP Switches with PCM+ v2.1.
We sees Events incoming from the switches but they disappear after a while.

I don't find any settings where a autodeletion will be possible instead of the Events settings under preference. But there will be the CheckBox "Auto delete acknowledge events" not checked.

What can I do?

Hi

If you enabled auto delete acknowledged events, then any event will be deleted.

Tools > Preferences > Events > then uncheck auto delete acknowledged events.

Yes I know this -- but it is not enabled!!
That is the phenomen :)

By default, events are archived after 20 days and a maximum of 1000 are displayed. You can increase both of these values if necessary.

That's right but the Event List is empty when I looked into it.
Then several entries appear and after a while the entries disappeared :(

Error was found.

The Setting was set under Preferences -> Global -> Syslog Events

There was "Trim Syslog messages" with 90 minutes set.

I set them now to 0 minutes and it work now.

So the Syslog events were deleted, not other events !!!
