HP ProCurve 5412zl with a premium license and multicast issue
Hi,
I have a client with this configuration where they wanted to access multicast application from the workstation @ 10.1.8.114 (vLAN 210) and 10.1.34.111 (vLAN 290) and vice versa.
Attached is the config of the router. Any problems with it? I've enabled ip pim-sparse and igmp to all the vLANs.
Also, using Microsoft Port Query, the UDP/TCP ports are not able to get through. So, what's wrong?

Re: HP ProCurve 5412zl with a premium license and multicast issue
You probably need to enable IP Forwarding on the VLAN's you want to forward the Multicast Traffic from.
something like this
ip forward-protocol udp 172.16.3.255 402
if you want to forward to a host use the host address, a network, use the broadcast address.
Trev.
