HP Procurve 6600-24XG Fault Light
Hi, we have a HP Procurve 6600-24XG that has an issue.
The fault LED is blinking orange, and as is the LED for port 13.
From this page:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=3897494&prodTypeId=12883&objectID=c01840731
It looks like this is the relevant entry:
If the port LED is Blinking (orange) simultaneously with the Fault LED, the corresponding port has failed its self-test.
My question is does anyone know whether this is a temporary condition or something permanent that needs the unit to be replaced under warranty?
We are using this switch in our production environment, so we cannot afford to do live troubleshooting on it.
Thanks!

Re: HP Procurve 6600-24XG Fault Light
Hi Stanley,
capture a "show tech all". Then reboot the switch and if the issue is still there you may open a call at HPN support.
Cheers
